Information System of Czech Discgolf Association
Kudrna, Jakub ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main objective of my thesis is to create web information system used by the Czech Discgolf Association, it’s community and discgolf players. Users can register themselves to the system and then add or edit discgolf courses, hole layouts, make new tournaments and submit scores to them. They can also manage clubs, see league results or add news to blog. There is also mobile web application used for submitting live scores of the tournaments. A specific group of users can have extended rights to editing courses, tournaments or leagues. The information system is implemented in ASP.NET with the use of Microsoft SQL database.
Flight properties of discgolf disc
Valík, Tomáš ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
Even through the rising popularity of disc golf all around the world, there aren't many solutions on how to compare individual throws, other than by observing. By placing inertial sensors on the bottom plate of the disc, an average rotation frequency was obtained by an algorithm. By comparing six methods of evaluation with reference values measured with the Qualisys system, the best method returns an average percent error of 2,66 %. Based on this result a test comparing two throws, backhand and forehand, was made, with average values of 14,22 and 11,46 revolutions per second. Two sample t-test rejected null hypothesis at the 0,05 significance level with p-value 2,101*10^(-18).

Vlček, Tomáš ; Procházka, Jan (advisor) ; Janák, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Knowledge and attitudes of UK FTVS students to disc golf. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out what attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University have to disc golf and what awareness they have of the sport. Methods: The electronic survey method was used in this work. Through surveying FTVS UK students, data about their awareness of disc golf and their attitudes towards this sport were collected. Results: The research found that most students have a basic knowledge of disc golf. More detailed knowledge of this sport is less common. Students' attitudes are most often positive or neutral. Half of the students have experience playing. Keywords: Awareness, attitudes, disc golf, marketing research, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport
